WE ARE LOOKING FOR Backend Developer
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and deploying robust backend solutions using Azure Functions and ASP.NET Web API. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based services to support our applications. Knowledge of modern front-end technologies, while not mandatory, will be considered a plus. Our way of working is flexible too, many of our team work remotely from home with visits to our office from time to time when needed.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and deploying robust backend solutions using Azure Functions and ASP.NET Web API. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based services to support our applications. Knowledge of modern front-end technologies, while not mandatory, will be considered a plus. Our way of working is flexible too, many of our team work remotely from home with visits to our office from time to time when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Azure Functions and ASP.NET Web API.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep templates for efficient deployment of Azure resources.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability through effective solution architecture.
- Participate in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices using Azure Pipelines.
- Proven experience with .NET (Core) 6, 7, and 8.
- Strong proficiency in C#.
- Experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL databases.
- Familiarity with Azure services, including Functions, App Service, Cosmos DB, Event Hub and Service Bus.
- Experience in setting up Azure services using Infrastructure as Code with Bicep and YAML-based Azure Pipelines.
- Knowledge of version control using Git and familiarity with Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of web technologies, including JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluent proficiency in Finnish is required
