What impact will you make?

The Asset Engineering (AE) team, that consists of ~60 employees with mainly experts in new technology, is responsible for building digital solutions for Deloitte Netherlands. As a Software Engineer, you will be working on the development of these products within the Asset Engineering team. These products are built using a modern technology stack and delivered as SaaS to the largest companies globally.

How do you do this?

As Software Engineer, you will be actively involved in the development of software products in collaboration with a team of developers. You are passionate about technology and eager to further expand your expertise and skills, as well as sharing your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues. You will have a blend of development and/or operational experience that provides you with a good understanding of modern infrastructure and development. In addition, you will be expected to:

  • design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions using the Java and the Axon Framework;
  • work together with experienced colleagues who enjoy helping you grow;
  • write clean, well-documented, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices;
  • ensure that your code has sufficient test-coverage (end-to-end and unit tests);
  • keep up to date with the latest technology trends;
  • grow your own expertise by contributing to both mature codebases and greenfield projects.

With your personal strengths, view of the world and unique personality. You need at least 1 years of work experience and the following qualifications for the position of Software Engineer:

  • have a minimum of 1 years of experience with backend development;
  • have extensive knowledge of at least 1 of the languages/frameworks mentioned above
  • have a Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering, or a related direction;
  • strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • used to working agile (Azure DevOps and Scrum).
  • have experience with developing backend development production-grade software using Java;
  • have a Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering, or a related direction;
  • preferably have experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing and/or Event Driven Architecture;
  • strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • used to working agile (Azure DevOps and Scrum).
