What do we ask?

• At least 4 years of experience as a Senior Software Developer.
• PHP, Symfony and SQL have no secrets for you (see full tech stack below)
• Higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level.
• You have deep technical knowledge and analytical insight.

Where would you like to work?

Our headquarters is centrally located between Amsterdam and Utrecht. We also have an office in Almere. It is possible to work partially from home.

What will you do?

You will be part of one of our 6 scrum teams, each working in sprints of 2 to 3 weeks. Both independently and in teams, you work on the applications we develop internally. Think, for example, of adding new features to the webshop(s) or improving our logistics systems. You also assist the Lead Developer in coaching junior and mid-level colleagues.We have innovation days where you can work on innovative projects that interest you. Unleash your creativity on the most interesting issues and make improvements that benefit the entire company. Our other (international) webshops also use the e-commerce platform and ERP system developed by us. As a PHP Developer, your work will be directly used for multiple webshops in different countries.

The tech stack

We work with PHP 8.2, MySQL 8, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, and Angular. Symfony 6 is our foundation for backend development and TypeScript for frontend. We keep our technologies up-to-date, are open to new ideas and innovations, and do not shy away from complex migrations.

Your environment

Our IT department consists of about 75 employees with a lot of knowledge. This allows you to continue learning and grow into the role of Lead Developer within your scrum team. Our IT department has an informal atmosphere and offers space for fun besides hard work. The IT department is always working on new technologies and innovations.
