Junior Software Engineer (Porto or LX)

Job Description : It is a transversal team whose main mandates include enforcing Computer Science best practices, maintaining and enhancing the QR pricing libraries, and building and supporting tools based on these libraries.

Main Tasks:

• Maintain and enhance a large software solution, following the team’s best practices
• Maintain and manage the computational infrastructure required to build and test such solution, in coordination with the rest of the team
• Eliminate technical obsolescence and drive efforts to ensure application performance

Technical skills:

• Master degree (or higher) in Computer Science or any other science/engineering field with a strong interest in computer science
• Good understanding of Computer Science concepts: algorithms, complexity, distributed computation, etc.
• Experience with an interpreted language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with a compiled language (e.g., C++, C#, Java)
• English - fluent.
