As we scale, we are now looking for a Frontend Tech Lead to be part of our journey to transform the financial landscape for entrepreneurs.

About The Role

As our Frontend Tech Lead, you will join one of our tech teams and lead the development efforts for our web and mobile applications. You will have a crucial role throughout the entire development lifecycle - from planning to execution. You will be an integral part of our team, taking on significant responsibilities while enjoying numerous opportunities for professional development. You will lead and inspire the Frontend team, help shape our technology stack, influence the technical roadmap, and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Be accountable with leading the front-end architecture and vision of our customer facing applications, including the web and mobile development.
• Maintain a good balance of code quality and developer experience, keeping up with the latest technologies that are out there and ensure our tech stack is always up to date.
• Provide guidance and mentor our frontend developers to thrive to be the best of themselves through code reviews, pair programming and frontend forums
• Work closely with our backend teams, UX designers and product managers to create smooth and high-performing user experiences in an agile manner.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Passionate about building exceptional user experiences.
• Enthusiastic about building both responsive, mobile-first web applications and the mobile applications itself.
• Believes the best way to have a clean code and architecture is to write tests and ensure security and performance in the implementation.
• Able to communicate with UX designers and product managers about the feasibility of business requirements - both technical and design wise.
• Accountable within your role and responsibilities in your team - step up and shine in critical moments.
• Excited about leadership opportunities and enjoys sharing knowledge with the team and mentoring other developers
  
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Several years of experience building and maintaining web applications using React, with a good understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and modern React patterns.
• Experience developing mobile applications with React Native, good knowledge of optimizing performance, handling platform-specific challenges, and integrating native modules.
• Experience with monitoring tools. We use Sentry, Posthog and Grafana.
• Experience with testing and test automation for mobile and web applications.
• Experience of leading development teams, knowledge in CI/CD pipelines, and AWS or other cloud providers, will make you stand out in the crowd.
