Software Engineer

Your Tasks

Typical tasks include designing and programming the PLC software in TIA portal as well as preparing test documentation and user manuals. The software department supports the test and commissioning team during the production stage and the service department during final installation. The support can be both in the form of technical support from the office or as hands on participation during testing at our production facility.

• Design and development of control systems for cranes, winches and access equipment.
• Test & commissioning (some traveling will be required).
• Preparation of test documents and user manuals.
• Technical support towards commissioning and service dep.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Automation/Mechatronics/Software Engineer with MSc - newly graduates will be considered
• Experience in programming of PLC and HMI/SCADA systems. Working with Siemens system (TIA Portal) is an advantage
• Experience in programming with SCL, FBD/LAD.
• Experience in preparation and commissioning of frequency drives
• Good knowledge and understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Good knowledge and understanding of motion control and motion compensation
• Experience with active heave compensation is an advantage
• Experience in Matlab/Simulink is an advantage
• Good English skills written and spoken
