My client is one of the leading Scandinavian product companies. They are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to help design and build a proprietary data platform for sustainable global industrial collaboration.

Core Responsibilities:

Architectural Design

Design and propose cloud architecture solutions that meet business needs and adhere to best practices.

Collaboration

Work closely with the Platform Lead Architect, Tech Lead, Project Manager, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and goal achievement.

Proof of Concept (POC)

Conduct POCs to validate architectural choices and ensure technical feasibility.

Feedback

Provide constructive feedback to improve product features and performance.

Azure Expertise

Leverage extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions.

Coding

Write and review code to deliver scalable, high-quality, and maintainable solutions.

Documentation

Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architectures and solutions.

Mentorship

Guide and mentor junior team members in cloud technologies and best practices.

Person Specification:

Architecture Experience

5+ years in software/platform architecture, specializing in scalable system design and implementation.

Cloud Expertise

Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and architectural frameworks.

Development Proficiency

Strong front-end and back-end skills, focusing on web apps using the .NET framework.

API & Data Management

In-depth knowledge of API management, data platforms, and integration frameworks.

Design Patterns & Security

Expertise in software design patterns, security protocols, and compliance standards.

Performance & Optimization

Proven ability to monitor performance, optimize systems, and manage risk.

Key Attributes:

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Leadership & Mentoring

Experienced in leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration.

Communication

Strong communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Agile Methodologies

Skilled in Scrum and iterative development, promoting continuous improvement.
