Job Description:

As a Senior Sustainability Manager at Synapsys Robotics, you will lead the development and execution of sustainability strategies that not only align with our mission but also position the company as a leader in environmental innovation. You will oversee key sustainability projects, with particular attention to carbon market standards like VCS, GS, the American Carbon Registry (ACR), and Climate Action Reserve (CAR), while ensuring compliance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with Synapsys Robotics’ business objectives, focusing on global sustainability frameworks like the SDGs.
• Carbon Standards Expertise: Manage projects and initiatives in line with Verified Carbon Standards (VCS), Gold Standard (GS), American Carbon Registry (ACR), and Climate Action Reserve (CAR), ensuring carbon offset and reduction goals are met.
• Sustainability Audits: Conduct detailed sustainability assessments and audits, identifying opportunities to enhance the company's environmental performance and carbon footprint reduction.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with all departments to embed sustainable practices into product development, operational processes, and overall company culture.
• SDG Reporting & Compliance: Ensure Synapsys Robotics’ sustainability efforts support and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), preparing regular reports to track progress.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, clients, and regulatory bodies, to promote sustainability initiatives and best practices.
• Sustainability Certifications: Ensure compliance with global sustainability frameworks (e.g., ISO 14001, GRI) and carbon offset standards, leading efforts to achieve and maintain these certifications.

• Expert in Carbon Standards: In-depth knowledge of carbon markets, including experience with Verified Carbon Standards (VCS), Gold Standard (GS), ACR, and CAR.
• Analytical Problem Solver: Possess advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sustainability data and derive actionable insights to drive decision-making.
• Effective Communicator: Strong ability to articulate complex sustainability concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Innovative & Proactive: You are a forward-thinker who can identify sustainability challenges and create innovative, actionable solutions.
• Collaborative & Adaptable: Proven track record of working successfully with diverse, cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in sustainability management. Experience with carbon offset programs (VCS, GS, ACR, CAR) is essential.
• Sustainability Standards: Expertise in sustainability certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, GRI, CDP), and experience in SDG alignment and reporting.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple sustainability initiatives simultaneously and deliver measurable results.
• Data-Driven: Skilled in sustainability reporting tools and data analysis, able to track and report sustainability metrics.
