Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports with a focus on business insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from various business teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver high-quality data visualizations.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain Power BI solutions and reports for business users, ensuring they meet business needs.
• Conduct end-to-end reporting processes, including data extraction, data transformation, and building high-performance reports.
• Implement and maintain data models, optimizing data performance and ensuring data integrity.
• Define and implement best practices for Power BI architecture and visualization standards.
• Provide training and support to end users to help them understand and leverage Power BI reports effectively.
• Manage Power BI environments, including report deployment, access management, and optimization of performance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing data systems, ensuring accurate and timely data flow.

Required Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

• 5-8 years of experience in Power BI development with expertise in data visualization and report building.
• Proven experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) with an understanding of financial reporting processes and metrics.
• Strong expertise in Power BI architecture, including data modelling, report development, and optimization.
• Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query for data manipulation.
• Strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and database management.
• Experience with large datasets and performance tuning in Power BI.
• Knowledge of retail and FMCG industry data and business processes is preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work across business units and IT teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Power BI certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
• Advance expertise in Excel.
• Familiarity with other BI tools or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
• Experience with cloud-based solutions like Azure or AWS for BI solutions.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
