Freelance UX/UI Designer

We are working with a digital transformation agency to find a Freelance UX/UI Designer for a 12-month, part-time contract (10-15 hours per week). This project involves working with an education client to create a digital museum, completed in several phases over the next 1-2 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the COO to bring the digital museum project from initial phases to completion.
• UX: Work on personas, wireframes, user research, customer journey maps, and testing.
• UI: Develop mood board concepts, design and prototype, create style guidelines, and deliver high-fidelity designs.
• Experience running usability workshops and working in flexible, collaborative environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong emphasis on creating immersive digital experiences.
• Strong portfolio showcasing interactive, engaging, and visually forward designs.
• Ability to work independently and as an individual contributor.
• Comfortable working remotely, with occasional onsite visits to tour the physical museum in the early stages.
