Role Overview
The Digital Asset Post-Investment Manager will oversee and optimize the performance of the company's token investments, providing strategic guidance, operational support, and risk management. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology, tokenomics, and market dynamics, alongside a proven ability to build relationships with portfolio companies and stakeholders. Business level proficiency in Chinese and English is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for the company's crypto/token portfolio projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of token investments, including price trends, adoption metrics, and ecosystem development.
- Develop post-investment strategies to maximize token value, including staking, liquidity provision, and governance participation.
- Advise portfolio companies on tokenomics, market positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Support portfolio projects in scaling their ecosystems, driving user adoption, and forming key partnerships.
- Represent the company in token governance discussions and voting activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with portfolio teams, exchanges, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared goals.
- Track and analyze token market trends, identifying opportunities and risks.
- Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders on portfolio performance, token market conditions, and recommended actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the secure custody, trading, and management of token assets.
- Assist portfolio companies with compliance, listing, and liquidity-related challenges.
Qualifications
- Experience in crypto investments, blockchain, or related fields.
- Proven track record in managing token portfolios or advising crypto startups.
- Strong understanding of tokenomics, smart contracts, and DeFi protocols.
- Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, staking mechanisms, and DAO governance.
- Proficiency in market analysis, financial modeling, and token performance metrics.
- Ability to assess risks and opportunities in token ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to solving problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
- Business level proficiency in Chinese and English as you may need to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, or asset management within the crypto space.
- Active participation in DeFi, DAO governance, or blockchain communities
