Jar also effortlessly facilitates investments by enabling users to save while they spend, utilising our round-off method, like a digital piggy bank.

Founded by Misbah Ashraf, former founder of community-focused e-commerce platform Marsplay, and Nishchay AG, former director and founding member at mobility start-up Bounce, Jar's unwavering mission is to shatter psychological barriers to saving and investing, thus spearheading the Financial Fitness revolution for Bharat.

Nek's wide collection of silver and gold jewelry is made with meticulous artisanship to celebrate you and find the magic in every occasion.

About The Role

At Jar, you'll have the opportunity to tackle innovative and cutting-edge assignments, leading projects with a design-driven focus. You'll learn and implement data-driven methodologies, explore diverse color systems for both native apps and websites, and be part of an environment where design is highly valued and appreciated across all departments. With a commitment to delivering high-quality work through continuous iterations and refinements, you'll have the chance to grow your design expertise and career with enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. You'll also maintain uncompromising standards for UI design excellence while collaborating with stakeholders to brainstorm and implement new initiatives and ideas.

Responsibilities

• Work on design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, and business teams to find sophisticated but practical solutions to design challenges.
• Compile research, create user flows, and design mockups and high-fidelity user interfaces.
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g., usability, findability) and identify design problems to devise elegant solutions.
• Provide design thinking and leadership to develop the right product strategy, tackling problems and creating solutions that delight users.
• Take full ownership of your work, ensuring every last detail is attended to, every step of the way.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 1.5 years of experience in UI/UX and product design.
• A clear sense and taste for good visual design.
• Strong knowledge of design fundamentals, such as design thinking frameworks, with the ability to take a structured approach to solving problems.
• Deep empathy and a strong focus on keeping the customer’s point of view at the forefront, consistently bringing questions back to what will serve them best.
• Proven design skills, experience shipping products, and a solid understanding of what it takes to build valuable and meaningful experiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating ownership and the ability to work through ambiguity.
