The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Product Designer for our office based in Knightsbridge, London. The individual must be agile and proactive, with a positive can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit, alongside design curiosity. You will report directly to the Lead of Product Development. You will utilize your exceptional taste and design insight to work closely with Product Development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Working in collaboration with Product Development on the conception, design and creation of new collections.
  • Drawing on exceptional taste and understanding of our luxury brand to inspire, design our product offering for our members and projects and, subsequently, retail markets.
  • As a designer, you will play a pivotal role in the creation of homeware products and interiors. You will have responsibility for the design process and take ownership of the design direction for specific collaborations, ensuring alignment with the brand’s aesthetic while introducing fresh, innovative ideas.
  • Ability to build a homeware collection, must be an experienced interior product designer with a strong vision, exceptional technical skills and a deep understanding of the interior and homeware markets.
  • Assist in providing creative direction for collaborations.
  • Create original designs, and patterns with exceptional drawings, colouring and composition skills adaptable to various mediums and styles.
  • Design prototypes and drawings that incorporate the required specs and design elements.
  • Owning and championing the sustainability focus within the design stage and beyond.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Ensure all designs meet production standards, correct repeats, scaling, and composition.
  • Assist on Trend research with Product Development.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising creativity or quality.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and external partners and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Travel may be required for supplier visits, events and market research.


Professional Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years working as a product designer.
  • Creative expertise: A strong portfolio showcasing innovative and commercially viable designs for homeware, interiors and decorative accessories.
  • Ability to create original artwork in a variety of traditional and digital mediums.
  • Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, AVA, InDesign or hand drawings to develop and finalise designs - CAD is a bonus.
  • Strong awareness and interest in Interior Design, homeware and fashion trends.
  • Ability to independently manage start-to-end design process whilst juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-orientated approach to design.
  • Attention to detail: Strong or organisational skills and an eye for detail in both creative and technical aspects of design, and engineering experience welcome.
