Software Engineer

At Stomble we're an exciting startup looking for a highly experienced software engineer to join our team. We are a small startup bootstrapping our way forward with a group of eager engineers and designers already with a high level of ambition to build and deliver our MVP product to the world.

Stomble is creating, developing and building infrastructure that will support small businesses to have more control over their business by building solutions to solve their most difficult and complex problems. Our mission and vision are to use innovative solution to increase economic opportunity for businesses globally..

We're looking for a highly skilled software engineer, who is willing to join and help a small scrappy startup, who has the knowledge and skills to navigate us through potential upcoming pitfalls by lending their advice or skills to our project. We need a software engineer who can assist us to get our first released product built and shipped to the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning: Working alongside our designers and stakeholders to program and design to the needs of our users.
• Research: Continuous learning and research to build a well thought out website that is responsive, well designed and fast.
• Cross-functional teams: Working across multiple teams to accept requirements, discuss progress and challenges and deploy quickly.
• Discover: Work alongside us to define what we need to improve, iterate upon and learn for upcoming challenges we may face.

Job Requirements:

• Building and working alongside key stakeholders to develop strategic plans for the frontend and backend development timeline.
• Building and designing the frontend architecture to be responsive on web and mobile.
• Must be willing at learning and adopting new technologies.
• Collaborating with different team members to achieve successful outcomes.
• Testing and debugging of your own code.

Technical languages must haves:

• Knowledge of React, react.js and other related languages.
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Angular.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Understanding of Python is advantageous.
• Understanding of Node.js is advantageous.
• Must have knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS.
