The organisation is investing heavily in uplifting all areas of Technology, with a particular focus on Cloud, Security & Data, where this role will play a crucial part.

This is a Hybrid working position with my client located within walking distance of Parliament station.



Role Overview:
The DevOps Engineer reports directly to the Platform Lead and will automate and optimise processes across development and operations. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, deploy cloud infrastructure, and ensure systems are secure, efficient, and scalable.

You will be working on a near Greenfield Digitial Modernisation project.



Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Pipeline: Automate code integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Use tools like Terraform to automate cloud setup and improve efficiency.
  • Cloud Services: Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring and resolve system issues quickly.
  • Collaboration: Work with development and operations teams to streamline product delivery.
  • Security & Compliance: Follow security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.



You Are:

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • An effective communicator with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passionate about supporting our members and driving innovation.



Required Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), microservices, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Skilled in scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python).
  • Experience across End-to-End ownership
  • Best practice experience
  • Azure and Terraform



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS) are a plus.
