Job Role:
- Maintain a range of Program and Project Artefacts that may include schedules, risks and issues logs, project meeting papers, dependency registers, document registers.
- Provide Senior Project Officer Services to support on-time project delivery by scheduling, tracking and reporting progress against project plans.
- Support daily stand ups, fortnightly sprint planning and retrospectives, and maintain Frontline Delivery sprint and Kanban boards.
- Manage solution delivery according to operational needs and ensure milestones, key objectives, budgets and stakeholder needs are met whilst minimizing risks and resources.
- Communicate and negotiate with various client stakeholders including regional operations command, specialist operations command, public safety and security command, capability command, and various other consumers of the Frontline Technology products suite.
- Communicate, manage, and negotiate with various external stakeholders including 3rd party providers and other client departments and their associated agencies that consume the services of, or provide services to, the Frontline Technology domain.
- Provide timely, accurate project information and support to Project Manager in relation to status, issues, risks, and other forms of reporting as required.
- Be responsible for the implementation and delivery of project outcomes.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in using MS Project for planning, scheduling, tracking and monitoring of projects.
- Proven project management support experience and capability including the ability to achieve objectives within tight timeframes.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and complete tasks to meet deadlines under limited supervision.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills including the ability to write high quality written materials and brief team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience across a breadth of project management areas including; scheduling, change control, quality assurance, risk and issue management, resourcing, on-boarding, governance, and stakeholder management.
- Understanding and experience in the application of a range of project management methodologies.
- Prior experience as a scheduler is ideal.
