We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer for our client, a leading financial services company based in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly dynamic and collaborative team, leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies to deliver innovative solutions for data movement platforms.

In this role, you will bring your expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure such as code, and automation to design and maintain scalable and robust systems. You will be critical in ensuring platform reliability, availability, and efficiency by implementing advanced DevOps practices and driving automation efforts.

Key Skills:

• Unix/Linux: Strong knowledge and experience configuring and deploying applications in public cloud environments like AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with tools like Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure.
• CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
• Kubernetes: Expertise in container orchestration and management.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong programming skills in Python, Groovy, Jenkins, Java, or shell scripting to automate administrative tasks.
• Monitoring & Alerts: Experience with setting up alerts and monitoring systems for high availability.
• Cloud & On-Premise Automation: Design and deploy automated processes for resource management in hybrid environments.
• Incident Management: Analytical skills for triaging production issues, with experience in on-call support and release management.
• Communication: Strong communication and influencing skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
