Senior Product Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Manager to join our growing SaaS business. In this role, the successful candidate will take full ownership of the product lifecycle for critical features and offerings, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives. This role will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver world-class solutions that drive value for our eyecare customers.

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, data-driven, and experienced in scaling software products within the eyecare software industry. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a category leading SaaS product and drive measurable impact for our customers and business.

Ocuco operates in a hybrid working environment, with employees working in the office three days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with company goals and customer needs
• Continuously prioritize opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and business objectives
• Conduct customer interviews, analyse user feedback, and leverage data insights to deeply understand user pain points and opportunities
• Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure the product remains competitive and innovative
• Work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Sales, and Marketing) to deliver high-quality software solutions on time
• Write clear and detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Manage trade-offs, resolve blockers, and ensure effective communication throughout the product development process
• Define and track product success metrics (e.g., adoption, retention, revenue impact) and iterate based on insights
• Partner with the analytics team to make data-driven decisions and measure outcomes
• Act as the voice of the customer and a champion for the product vision within the company
• Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverables

The successful candidate must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant IT qualification
• 6+ years of experience in Product Management, with a track record of owning and scaling SaaS products
• Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle: from strategy and discovery to delivery and performance measurement
• Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Sales, and Marketing) in an Agile environment
• Technical acumen: Comfortable discussing software architecture, APIs, integrations, and technical trade-offs with engineering teams
• Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Pendo, Woopra, Google Analytics, or Tableau to make data-driven decisions
• Demonstrated ability to balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical constraints
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills: ability to articulate product vision, write clear requirements, and align teams
• Familiarity with modern product management tools: Jira, Jira Align, Aha!, Productboard, Miro, etc.

The Ideal candidate will also have:

• An MBA
• Experience in the healthcare or optometry industry
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) or APIs.
