About Your New Job

• Build and operate services that enhance the availability of the Cloud Network Infrastructure.
• Apply an engineering approach to measure and automate network reliability, aligning with the organisation’s service-level objectives, agreements, and goals.
• Respond swiftly to network disruptions, identify root causes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to fully restore functionality.
• Oversee the automation of recurring operational tasks to streamline processes, enhance workflow efficiency, and boost productivity.
• Support the operation of a vast network infrastructure, including hundreds of thousands of devices and millions of servers, connected via a mix of dedicated backbone infrastructure, Cloud Network, and the Internet.

What Skills You Need

• 3+ years of network engineering experience.
• Experience working in a large ISP or cloud provider environment.
• Proven experience in a network operations role.
• Broad understanding of protocols and services such as MPLS, BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and SSL.
• Experience with scripting or automation (Python preferred).
• Familiarity with network monitoring and telemetry solutions.
• Some experience with network modeling and programming (YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF).
