About the Role

We are looking for a talented Data Visualization Consultant to join this dynamic team. In this role, you will design and deliver impactful visualizations and dashboards that bring data to life for a range of stakeholders. Working closely with data scientists, engineers, and end-users, you will ensure that complex datasets are transformed into intuitive, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to develop user-centric dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Plotly.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable, visually compelling data products.
• Develop and optimize data structures to support scalable, high-performance visualizations.
• Apply best practices in UX/UI design to create intuitive and accessible dashboards for users of all skill levels.
• Test and validate visualization outputs to ensure data accuracy and alignment with stakeholder needs.
• Provide recommendations to improve data visualization strategies and deliver incremental value to end-users.

Essential Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in designing and developing data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data preparation and transformation.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, including performance optimization and storytelling with data.
• Proven ability to design user-friendly dashboards that balance functionality and aesthetics.
• Experience in testing and validating visualization outputs against data and business requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Plotly for creating interactive visualizations.
• Familiarity with CSS and other front-end design tools.
• Exposure to large-scale data environments, preferably within Snowflake or similar platforms.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps principles (e.g., CI/CD, version control).
• Awareness of machine learning and data science concepts.
