Alphatron Zorgverbinders is a new branch of Alphatron Medical, established to focus specifically on the Dutch market with a full focus on software solutions for medical imaging storage and exchange. This company operates without warehouses and has no physical products. Instead, they develop fully cloud-based software for healthcare institutions. The team consists of 35 people, ranging from developers to consultants, and works closely with major clients such as the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) and health insurers. Its main competitors are companies like Philips and Siemens, but Alphatron Zorgverbinders stands out by focusing specifically on the Dutch market and adhering to local laws and regulations.

Job Description

As a full-stack developer at Alphatron Zorgverbinders, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the healthcare sector. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced software solutions. You will work on a platform called Twiin, which helps healthcare professionals securely and efficiently share medical images, such as X-rays and ultrasounds, between hospitals. These software solutions must meet strict safety and privacy standards, especially in healthcare, where data integrity is of utmost importance. You will work on both the front-end and back-end of the applications, utilizing modern technologies such as Node.js, React, Typescript, and JavaScript.

Within the team, you will play an active role and be involved in every phase of the software development process, from initial concept to final implementation. In addition to the technical work, you are also a good communicator and a true team player. You will work closely with your colleagues, share your knowledge, and be open to learning from others. Together, you will elevate the software and work on solutions that truly impact healthcare in the Netherlands.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of development experience, preferably in Typescript and JavaScript (Node.js, React).
• Knowledge of medical standards such as FHIR, HL7, or DICOM is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch, and proficient in English (English-only candidates will also be considered).
• Experience in the healthcare sector or medical software is a plus.
