Compliance Officer

We are looking for a Compliance Officer (Lithuania)!

Requirements:

- Strong educational background in law, finance, economics, risk management, business administration, or a related field;

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for CASPs;

- Analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills;

- Deep understanding of the crypto market, blockchain technology, and associated risks.

CCO should have expertise in AML/CTF frameworks.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures, and prepare necessary legal documents and compliance reports;

- Ensure that products, services, processes, and tools are fully compliant with regulatory standards and best industry practices;

- Advise on compliance-related projects, including the integration of compliance tools;

- Liaise with regulators and external auditors on compliance matters, ensuring effective communication and reporting;

- Organize training sessions for employees on compliance policies and regulations to foster a culture of compliance within the organization;

- Monitor and assess compliance risks to recommend effective mitigation strategies;

- In case of absence of the MLRO, the CCO may substitute MLRO, until the MLRO returns to the duties, or a new MLRO is appointed.

Relevant certifications: Certifications such as the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) can demonstrate expertise and commitment to the field.
