Marketing and Community Lead - Blockchain

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Marketing and Community Lead - Blockchain - this is a fully remote role, but candidates need to be based in CET timezone.

We are a VC-backed blockchain startup revolutionizing digital asset exchange markets by prioritising sustained intent over speed.

Our first product, Debate Markets, combines social finance and prediction markets to foster constructive, skin-in-the-game debates—a groundbreaking application at the intersection of blockchain, finance, and social networks. We're building more than technology; we're executing on a path to redefine markets, empower communities, and transform the digital landscape.

We're looking for a Marketing and Community Lead to drive our narrative, grow its community, and establish its presence as a trailblazer in the blockchain and SocialFi space. This is a chance to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to shape how the world sees us.

What You'll Do

Marketing Strategy and Content

• Develop and refine our brand narrative to inspire trust and excitement
• Build a marketing strategy that balances rational positioning (our value proposition) with emotional branding (the "why" behind our mission)
• Position us as a category-defining innovator in both decentralized finance and social media
• Create and oversee contents such as: educational copy, product updates, and the occasional shitposts; manage team and partners including obtaining design and content input to execute fast and at high quality
  
  

Community Building and Engagement

• Grow and nurture vibrant communities across platforms (e.g. Twitter, Telegram, Discord)
• Host and moderate live events such as Twitter Spaces, AMA sessions, and community calls to foster engagement
• Cultivate relationships with early advocates to create organic traction
• Develop hooks and viral campaigns that align with our story and engage initially crypto-native audiences
  
  

Analytics and Iteration

• Track metrics like community growth and content performance across platforms to assess and iterate strategies
• Regularly refine messaging based on audience insights and feedback
  
  
  

Requirements

Proven track record in marketing, business development, growth, community building, or related roles, ideally in crypto.

Understanding of or strong interest in blockchain, DeFi, and social platforms like Twitter, Discord, and Telegram.

Strategically experienced working independently and taking ownership of the whole process.

Bonus if you have established relationships with Crypto Leaders, as well as strong BD Experience.
