Project Manager - Software Development

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage web development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure clear communication and satisfaction.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, with a strong emphasis on Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure efficient team collaboration and project progression.
• Utilise Azure DevOps to manage project workflows, track progress, and ensure visibility across all stakeholders.
• Coordinate the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including planning, execution, and issue resolution to ensure final deliverables meet quality standards.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve issues or risks that may impact project delivery, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure deliverables align with technical specifications and client expectations.
• Generate project reports and performance insights, leveraging tools like Power BI when applicable, to provide stakeholders with clear, actionable data.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve project management strategies and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing software development projects, particularly web development initiatives.
• Proven expertise in Agile and Scrum environments, with certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) preferred.
• Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for project management and workflow tracking.
• Familiarity with Power BI for reporting purposes is advantageous but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and manage client relationships, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of issues commonly encountered in software development projects and strategies for effective resolution.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience may substitute.
