Fuel Analyst

As a Fuel Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring Norse has a highly efficient fuel set-up. You will be responsible for reconciling supplier balances as well as reviewing and approving all fuel invoices. Be active in communication with suppliers and ensure uninterrupted fuel supply for company in each country.

Your main responsibilities and duties:

• Ensure accurate account balances with suppliers.
• Review, approve or dispute fuel invoices with ongoing account reconciliation, and ensure prompt approval and payment of funds. 
• Maintain close communication regarding account status with suppliers.. 
• Create and communicate accurate and timely nominations. 
• Follow up and continuously improve overall compliance and supplier performance and occurrence reporting. 
• Publish weekly fuel price reports for the Norse Atlantic network and ad-hoc flying program. 
• Ensure compliance with tax and environmental legislation.  
• Work with suppliers to ensure continuous supply of aviation fuel. 
•  Negotiate contracts with suppliers.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in financial and data analysis.
• Possess good Excel skills.
• Accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to work with various internal stakeholders.
• Strong relationship building skills. 
• Very good written and spoken English ( For communication with international colleagues about job related questions).
• Problem solving skills.
• Disciplined, structured.
