A great opportunity has opened for a Senior Software Developer for a leading Financial Services Client of ours in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Contract Duration: 12+ months (potential extension)

Start date: February/March

Location: Amstelveen, Netherlands

Working Pattern: Hybrid

Hours: 40

Your job is to get a thorough understanding of the challenges and work on our self-service platform (Developer Self Service Platform aka DSSP) that is used to help Developers with onboarding onto our CICD tooling. DSSP is a set of microservices coded in Go, aimed at automating service discovery and keeping the CMDB in sync with the CICD tooling and application landscape. Your job will be designing, building, implementing, and maintaining these backend API services, with a specific focus on new and existing code using frameworks such as gin and many others.

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer with a strong background in:

• Backend API Services: Strong experience and understanding of building backend API services.
• Go Development: Strong focus on backend API development in Go is a plus.
• OAUTH Implementation: Understanding of implementing OAUTH for backend APIs is a plus.
• Frameworks: Familiarity with frameworks such as gin, uber-zap, httpmock, mockery, etc., is highly desirable.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: A strong foundation in infrastructure and familiarity with scripting (shell) and programming languages like Go, Python, and Java.
