Java Software Engineer

Senior or Midlevel Java Developer (fulltime, remote)

One of our clients is for a Senior and 1 Midlevel Java Developer on a freelance basis. There is already an existing team of 4-5 backend engineers. Due to the amount of work and tight deadline, there is a need for additional help. They are modernizing the legacy (updating to a newer version of Java) code and creating microservices simultaneously.

Language: English

Who you are:

• You have a passion for writing clean code and an eye for simplicity and pragmatism
• At least 3+ years of programming skills in Java and the Spring Framework for midlevel
• You feel comfortable with object-oriented design
• You can operate with Kafka for messaging between the microservices
• You have some experience in Logging/monitoring/secrets management
