PHP Developer

➢ Recycle loop is utilising the latest technology and data to enable customers to make the best possible use of their materials.

➢ Comply loop is enabling customers to solve increasingly complex environmental regulatory challenges using data, expert knowledge and thought leadership to drive business accountability across the globe.

➢ Re-use loop is providing intelligent technology platforms and agile delivery models for pre-retail logistics and product returns, fulfilment and processing, on behalf of many of Europe’s largest retailers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of solutions.

• Develop, implement, and maintain PHP applications using PHP 8 and CodeIgniter framework.

• Participate in the migration process from PHP 8 to PHP 8.2, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to existing functionalities.

• Use MySQL for database management and optimization.

• Implement front-end functionalities using JavaScript and jQuery to enhance user experience.

• Collaborate closely with all team members to ensure milestone are met efficiently.

• Utilize Jira for ticketing, GitHub for version Control, and work according to Agile methodologies.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the stability and reliability of the system.

• Stay updated with the industry trends and best practices to continuously improve development processes and techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with a focus on PHP 8 and CodeIgniter.

• Proficiency in MySQL for database management and optimization.

• Understanding of JavaScript and jQuery for front-end development.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.

• Familiarity with the concepts of invoicing and document management system is a plus.
