Power Analyst

Pangea is representing a leading trader who is looking to hire a Power Analyst as part of their Swiss team. In this role, you will play a key part in analysing power markets, supporting trading decisions, and contributing to the client's renewable energy strategy, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyse EU power markets, supply and demand dynamics, and pricing trends.

- Develop and maintain analytical models to support trading strategies and risk management.

- Collaborate closely with traders and commercial teams to provide data-driven insights.

- Conduct quantitative analysis on renewable energy products and PPAs.

- Utilize Python and advanced analytics techniques for forecasting and optimization.
