Network Security Engineer

Develocraft is looking for a Network Security Engineer for one of our clients based in Gdańsk.

Location: Work from the office in Gdańsk / 4 working days / 2 days off

Working hours: 12-21

REQUIREMENTS:

•      4+ years of experience in a similar role
•      Experience in developing/maintaining network security architecture and strategy in global enterprises,
•      Very good understanding of network security technologies (FW, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, SASE/SSE) and related major vendors (Cisco, Citrix, F5, Fortinet, VMware),
•      Knowledge about ITIL, ITSM and industry best practices,
•      Ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and assess their potential against real-world business requirements,
•      Knowledge of financial management and budget control.
•      Understanding of cloud service providers and service offerings.
•      English B2/ Polish C1

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•       Developing and continuously updating all global network security design standards,
•       Ensuring compliance with internal audit, IT risk and security, and regulatory requirements,
•       Designing network security environments, tools,
•       Working with multiple firewall and proxy server platforms such as Zscaler, Cisco, Azure, NSX-T, Fortinet, and Checkpoint,
•       Managing vendors through the lifecycle of production equipment,
•       Tracking availability and technically mitigate incidents/project challenges,
•       Working with data center and business transformation program teams to gather information and plan, changing workload/priorities as required by the transformation program,
•       Creating security policy/risk related documentation.
