Responsibilities:
- Manage the enterprise network infrastructure across the Asia Pacific region, including the configuration and maintenance of firewall, VPN, IPS, WAN communication devices, ADSL routers, LAN switches, WLAN networks, authentication systems, and DNS and DHCP servers.
- Oversee software/network vendors in day-to-day operations and project management of relevant network-related projects.
- Manage user communication during corporate network project rollouts and handle network-related tasks.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of all WAN and LAN network infrastructure and services based on company standards.
- Perform firewall configuration, IPS management, and network server management (DNS, DHCP, Radius authentication servers).
- Embrace emerging technologies such as Cloud Computing Platforms, Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Operations, and Network Security (e.g., DDoS, VPN, Radius, 2FA).
- Conduct IT network monitoring and analyze WAN traffic to ensure maximum uptime across the region.
- Develop and implement action plans to resolve network issues and ensure efficient solutions.
- Support change requests for network solutions and services.
- Collaborate with other teams to automate the deployment of network infrastructure, including country IT teams.
- Address and resolve complaints promptly, escalating issues to relevant parties when necessary.
- Assist with IT project planning, coordination, and implementation within the region.
- Participate in global and regional IT project rollouts (e.g., Local Internet, VPN, WLAN, Cloud, Storage, Applications, Server, etc.).
- Contribute to new business initiatives (e.g., digitization) as a subject matter expert (SME) in networking.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure KPIs are met for system operations.
- Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, work instructions, system diagrams, and inventory.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of four years of experience supporting network and security operations in complex enterprise environments, including vendor management, SD-WAN management, and network governance.
- Hands-on experience with TCP/IP and data packet capture analysis, networking fundamentals, and common network services.
- Practical knowledge of supporting Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Azure/AWS Cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with IP protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP), Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), Quality of Service (QoS), MPLS, and Ethernet technologies (STP, RSTP, VLANs).
- Experience with Cisco 9000 series, Cisco Smart Licensing, QoS, IPSEC, SD-WAN, and SolarWinds network monitoring.
- Cisco certifications (CCNA / CCNP) and/or Fortinet NSE 4 certifications, or other relevant network certifications are preferred.
