Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and support multiple Kubernetes clusters.
• Evaluate requests for cluster modifications, ensuring feasibility and compatibility.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in configuration reviews.
• Maintain a customer-focused mindset to create effective infrastructure solutions.
• Stay informed on cloud-native tooling and container orchestration advancements.
• Own operational support for clusters, including after-hours incident response.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on Kubernetes administration experience.
• Expertise in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Proficiency with cluster networking and ingress configurations.
• Familiarity with service meshes (Istio preferred).
• Strong problem-solving abilities for infrastructure challenges.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

• Experience with Ansible, Helm, or other IaC tools.
• Knowledge of GitOps practices (e.g., Flux CD).
• Familiarity with logging and telemetry (e.g., Fluent).
• Proficiency with AWS technologies (e.g., EKS, ELBs, IAM).
• Understanding of distributed system design and troubleshooting.
