DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll manage our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it's secure, scalable, and efficient. You'll work closely with Backend Engineers to optimize and automate deployments, continuously improving our infrastructure and monitoring systems to support seamless application delivery.

Work model: Remote (in-office presence required for company/team-wide events, e.g. once per quarter).

Offered remuneration: 1150 - 1350 PLN daily.

Daily tasks:

• Collaborate with application development, product, and software QA teams to design, provision, and operate robust cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Set up comprehensive monitoring solutions, enhancing self-healing capabilities, and ensure 24/7 system availability.
• Execute regular security patches, ensuring our cloud services stay secure and up-to-date.
• Oversee the deployment of cloud services while continuously refining and automating the deployment process.
• Maintain and monitor Continuous Integration pipelines, empowering teams to streamline Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment.
• Ensure a state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure that is easy to monitor, scalable, highly available, and testable.
• Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency without compromising on performance or reliability.
• Drive automation initiatives for frictionless deployments, reducing manual intervention and errors.
• Advocate for and implement innovative cloud-based solutions while optimizing and evolving existing systems.

Must-haves:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with cloud service platforms - AWS.
• Solid knowledge of containerization (Amazon ECS knowledge is a huge plus).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
• Experience in managing monitoring tools for both application and infrastructure layers.
• Strong networking skills (TCP/IP).
• Understanding and experience with Git and Git workflows.
• Programming skills in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby).
• Experience in managing relational databases.
• Solid understanding of security standards and practices.
• Fluency in Polish and English (speaking and writing).
