About The Job

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to assist in analyzing and interpreting data sets using basic statistical tools and SQL queries. You’ll collaborate on data extraction, cleaning, and transforming raw data into valuable insights. This is an opportunity to grow your technical skills while developing reports and data visualizations. As you progress, you’ll take on more complex responsibilities and deepen your data analysis career.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data extraction, cleaning, and preparing data sets for analysis.
• Contribute to the development of basic reports and data visualizations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Analyze data patterns and trends, assisting with statistical and machine learning models.
• Collaborate with business teams to provide actionable insights.
• Support the identification of data quality issues and help resolve them.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field (Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics) or equivalent certification.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis or a related field.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and SQL.
• Basic understanding of data analysis, statistics, and data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge or interest in Cloud Computing (preferably AWS), Data Lakes, and Data Warehousing.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and grow.

• Experience with distributed systems and cloud computing.
• Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools.
