• Develop innovative products used to enhance autonomy both in underground and open pit mines.
• Participate in all stages of software design, implementation, testing, and product release.
• Contribute to the design of system architecture.
• Work as part of a talented team of software engineers and engineers from other disciplines across different projects.
• Support test features through both simulations and the physical product.
• Work across a codebase of Python, React and AWS - with a predominently backend focus.
• Work to create new features on existing products, maintain and customise features, and be involved in the development of new products.

👤 About you 👤

• Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter who is able to work autonomously.
• Ability to turn user requirements into an effective engineering design.
• You’ve worked with contemporary software development lifecycle practices for task management, source code version control, continuous integration, and unit testing.
• Experience working on Linux.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python for complex product development.
• Experience with sensing, communications, and location technologies is beneficial.
• Be based in Western Australia and hold unlimited working rights.
