About the Role:

As a hands-on Data Engineer, you will:

✔ Contribute to technical excellence by writing clean, robust, and tested code.

✔ Actively participate in daily team activities, both by coding and mentoring teammates.

✔ Drive the evolution of our platform, ensuring a proactive approach to refactoring and minimizing technical debt.

✔ Collaborate across diverse teams to deliver impactful solutions.

What You Bring to the Table:

✅ Required Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on Python experience.
• Strong background in data engineering or data science.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, tested, and robust code.
• Expertise in modern development workflows, including:
• Linting tools
• Unit & integration tests
• Code review
• Source control (e.g., Git)
• CI/CD pipelines
• Docker
• Comfort working on Linux systems and managing Windows laptops.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).

✅ Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Snowflake.
• Proficiency with column-oriented processing libraries (pandas, polars, PySpark, etc.).
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• German language skills are a plus!
