About The Role

We are now looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cross-border payment platform. You will lead a team of talented software engineers, driving innovation and ensuring the successful execution of our technical strategy. Your responsibilities will encompass team management, strategic planning, and hands-on coding, making you a key contributor to our growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Manage team performance, set goals, and track progress
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with cross-functional departments
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Collaborate with business development, product, and other teams to define and execute the technical roadmap
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to ensure our platform remains competitive
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize development processes and improve code quality
• Contribute to the overall technical direction of the company
• Actively participate in coding projects, helping the company reach its objectives while setting a high-quality standard inside and outside the team
• Review and mentor team members' code to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Contribute to the development of reusable components and libraries
• Generate exemplary technical documentation, helping the team to set the foundations for success
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior software engineer with a strong track record of delivering successful projects
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in team management, preferably in a fast-paced technology environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve their goals
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for building innovative and scalable software solutions
• Experience in the fintech industry is a plus
