About the Role
As a Robot Developer at 10Lines, you'll be an integral part of our robotics software team, contributing to various aspects of our robotics software stack. From autonomous navigation to perception and localization, you can be involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that drive the functionality of our robots. Working closely with our hardware engineering team, you'll also collaborate to ensure seamless integration between software and hardware components, ultimately contributing to the success of our robots.
Responsibilities:
- Develop software solutions for autonomous navigation, perception, localization, and other key areas
- Collaborate with the hardware team to integrate software with hardware components
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and other team activities to ensure high-quality software development practices
- Stay updated with advancements in robotics software technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Qualifications:
- MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field / equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in C++
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Desirable Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with robotics software development concepts, including autonomous navigation, perception, and localization
- Proficiency in modern C++ programming
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for software deployment and testing
