CarbonFarm is looking for a Mobile App Developer to join our nature-based climate mission!

Smallholder farmers are too often forgotten from the climate picture. At CarbonFarm, we're helping them earn a better living through sustainable agricultural practices.

Responsibilities

You will play a key role in building the next phase of mobile app functionality at CarbonFarm. From the outset, expect to be involved in creating software crucial for the day-to-day operations of our clients & partners.

• Develop cross-platform mobile apps to enable data collection in the field
• Integrating the mobile apps into the wider data workflows
• Engage in the design process, helping to create mobile apps that are useful, intuitive, and robust
• Create geospatial visualisations using industry standard mapping libraries
• Collaborate with stakeholders on the team, and with our clients

Qualifications

• A university degree in the domain of Software Engineering or similar—the precise degree matters less than having the right skillset!
• A minimum of two years of related work experience
• Working knowledge of cross platform mobile app development frameworks (e.g. React Native)
• Attention to detail
• Organised, flexible and self-sufficient
• Keen interest in learning new technologies
• French is not a requirement as we use English in the office (though it’s useful for day-to-day life).
