Project Manager

We are hiring a Project Manager to oversee customer-specific projects within our project house. This role focuses on the development of advanced soldier systems and communication technologies, with a strong emphasis on digitization and system responsibility. As a key member of our team, you will manage turnkey systems tailored to customer requirements and ensure high-quality technical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the development of customer-specific projects, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives.
• Take responsibility for system and technical management while collaborating closely with project teams.
• Develop and document system specifications using requirements engineering methodologies and tools (e.g., DOORS).
• Foster effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Address new challenges that arise from project-specific requirements and technological advancements.
• Create a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and professional growth.

Requirements:

• Strong technical experience in at least one of the following areas: systems engineering, software engineering, requirements engineering, hardware engineering, safety engineering, or mechatronic engineering.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and protocols such as ISO 26262 and CAN bus is advantageous.
• Proficiency in requirements engineering tools like DOORS is a plus.
• Knowledge of any programming language (e.g., C++, Python, Java) is essential.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to unite teams and foster collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in addressing new and complex challenges.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams.
• Willingness to relocate to Bremen if necessary.
• Basic willingness to travel worldwide (frequency and duration depend on the project phase).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in digitization initiatives and the development of turnkey systems.
• Background in managing customer-specific technical projects.
