C# .NET Developer

Job Title: C# .Net Developer - PLSS

Location: Dublin 1

Contract / Permanent: FTC 12 Months

Our client is seeking an IT contractor with the following skills for a period of 1 year to work with an internal project team developing public facing registration systems, shared service student information systems and APIs. This is a new role working initially on existing applications. Initial work will take place on a reporting tool integrated with a system outside of our client and will require advanced SQL skills and interrogation of datasets and reports. Alongside this, there will be ongoing work on an externally facing web application and an internal student information system including transfer of data via APIs.

Base of work It is envisaged the role will be a split between Onsite in Dublin for 2 days per week and 3 days per week from home. This is to facilitate face to face meetings with testing, support and business requirement teams.

IT Skills: 

Our client requires a candidate with strong skills & experience in Full Stack development primarily using Microsoft technologies and most or all the following skills:

• Good Experience of Typescript/JavaScript, CSS/SASS/Bootstrap, XSL/XML, AJAX/JQuery, .NET Core framework 3.1, C# and T-SQL Page 6 MC08 – C# .Net Developer - PLSS
• Demonstrated experience in implementation of Azure AD Identity and Access Management (ENTRA) in a medium \ large scale web application.
• Knowledge of .NET libraries, ADO.NET, Document Object Model etc.
• Skills/Experience in Object Oriented Design/Development.
• Skills/Experience of the MVC framework.
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server/TSQL essential.
• Familiarity with design patterns.
• Familiarity with interoperability issues.
• Strong skills & experience with Web related Security issues, authentication mechanisms, interoperability with OpenID

Requirements

Work Experience

• Minimum of 15 years practical experience in Web Software Development.
• Worked on a variety of medium and large-scale projects.
• Direct responsibility for writing code.
• Direct responsibility on a medium project for of all stages of the software development lifecycle from analysis through to test, deployment and maintenance.
• Good experience with security aspects of public facing web sites
• Proven track record in developing enterprise level software solutions
