Data Scientist (Remote)

You will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data sets, developing predictive models, and delivering actionable insights that drive business decision-making. Your expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization will help us leverage data to enhance our service offerings and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from various sources
Develop robust predictive models and algorithms to address business challenges
Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and valuable insights
Create interactive data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and deliver results that align with business objectives
Stay up to date with the latest data science trends, techniques, and best practices
Document methodologies and maintain detailed technical documentation for analysis and models
Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards in our data science projects

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in data analysis, statistics, or machine learning
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy)
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar
Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and modeling techniques
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js) to present insights effectively
Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with SQL and database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus
