DevOps Engineer (Luxembourg)

YOUR ROLE

You will be responsible to support and contribute to implement solutions in Agile/DevOps oriented environment. This involved the implementation of the following activities:

• Analyze the CI/CD platform and define standards;
• Ensure consistency and quality in process execution;
• Address topics such as automation, file transfer, alerting, job scheduling, dependency management (Not exhaustive);
• Improve the quality of deliveries by automating the deployments wherever possible;
• Be responsible for the operational maintenance and the deployment of containerized applications, in acceptance and production of all assets in your scope;
• Take an active part in the evolution of deployment procedures & standards for all kinds of components, while respecting change management procedures;
• Handle technology watch around production tooling;
• Write and maintain technical documentation to ensure proper operation of the solutions implemented.

YOUR PROFILE

• University Degree in Information Technology with at least 3 years of experience in an Operations Engineers Team;
• Ability to work in an Agile/DevOps collaborative environment (Agile/Scrum, Continuous Delivery, Automated testing);
• Strong knowledge of Linux server (RHEL). A knowledge of Windows Servers environment is a nice to have;
• Relevant experience in scripting such as Bash, Perl, Python;
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tool such as Jenkins and Gitlab CI/CD;
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/Docker;
• Knowledge of Ansible, TWS or equivalent, Jira/ServiceNow or equivalent, J2EE/ WebSphere Application server is a strong asset;
• Analytical thinking with a sense of initiative, responsibility, and organization;
• Good intercommunication skills, adapted to the audience;
• Strong team spirit and customer-oriented mindset;
• Fluency in French and a good command in English.
