Front-end Web Developer

We are looking for a Mid-Level Front-End Developer to join our team and contribute to Yardi’s CommercialEdge and CoworkingCafe products. These platforms empower businesses and employees by providing solutions for commercial real estate management and flexible workspace arrangements. Your work will play a key role in crafting intuitive user interfaces, enhancing user experience, and ensuring high accessibility and search engine optimization standards.

This position is available in a hybrid regime that implies working from the office at least once a week. Therefore, please take into account that you would need to be located in or near the Cluj-Napoca area.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience developing user interfaces with CSS and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of HTML5 best practices, including semantic markup, proper structuring, and accessibility considerations
• Proficiency in CSS3 features, pre-processors like LESS/SASS, and modern best practices
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind and/or others
• Experience working with JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and how they relate to front-end development
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and how to implement accessible features in web applications
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and developers
• Passion for maintaining clean, maintainable, and efficient code

You'll be responsible for:

• Translating design mock-ups into high-quality, maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
• Optimizing websites for speed, SEO, and accessibility
• Ensuring a consistent and visually appealing user interface across all platforms
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to technical discussions
• Maintaining and improving front-end codebases across multiple projects
