We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Security Engineer to join our team in Bucharest!

What You'll Get To Do

  • Conducting regular vulnerability assessments in accordance with PCI DSS and ISO 27001
  • Working with the infrastructure and development teams to help mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Monitoring and following up on information security alerts, events, and incidents
  • Improving the processes and technologies for monitoring and analysing security events
  • Managing and fine-tuning various security tools (SIEM, HIDS/NIDS, DLP, Antimalware, Microsoft security products, etc.)
  • Implementing security best practices and systems hardening guidelines within the infrastructure
  • Being part of the internal Cyber Incident Response Team

What You Need To Know

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience in Security Engineer, Security Analyst, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with or strong knowledge of:
    • o Vulnerability Assessment process and tools (Nessus, Qualys, Nmap, etc.)
    • o SIEM and monitoring tools (AlienVault, Splunk, Wazuh)
    • o Intrusion detection and network monitoring tools
    • o Microsoft Purview/DLP and Intune administration and implementation
    • o Antimalware tools (Trellix, CrowdStrike, Symantec, etc.)
    • o Cloud Security (GCP SSC, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, etc.)
  • Practical experience or good understanding of the Cyber Incident Response process
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good self-organization; eager to learn and develop cybersecurity skills
  • English (Intermediate or higher)
Nice To Have

  • Understanding of cloud environments, virtual infrastructure, containers
  • Understanding of OWASP Top Ten security risks and how to mitigate them
  • Understanding compliance frameworks ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS
  • IT Security certifications like CompTIA Security+, CCNA (Security), Microsoft 365 Security Administration, etc.

Here's What We Offer

  • Start with 22 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 32 days by your fifth year with us.
  • Stay Healthy: 10 sick leave days per year, no doctor's note required.
  • Hybrid work schedule: 60% work from the office and 40% work from home per quarter (during your first 3 months, you'll be in the office full-time)

  • 21 weeks of paid maternity leave, with the flexibility to work from home full-time until your child turns 1 year old.
  • 4 weeks of paternity leave, plus the flexibility to work from home full-time until your child is 13 weeks old.
