Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We are currently working with an industry leader, working in the semiconductor space developing sensors and advancements in neuromorphic computing. For this position we are searching for a senior Embedded Software Engineer who will be designing, implementing, maintaining and testing embedded software components. You will be collaborating with engineers of different disciplines in requirements and design activities related to embedded software (e.g. application development, hardware development), whilst also proposing improvements on development processes and strategies to spear head this project.

Requirements and Qualifications needed:

• MSc or BSc degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related discipline.
• 3+ years experience working in industry mainly with Embedded Software development, strong working knowledge of C programming is required.
• Good understanding of assembly language for RISC architectures, especially RISC-V.
• Experience with working with Python, and familiar with Version Control Systems, especially Git and Gitlab.
• Experience in HIL testing for embedded targets with a hardware debugger or other tools.
• Experience with Mixed-signal Integrated Circuit development processes.
• Interest and motivations to work in the ML / Neural Network space is a benefit.
