About The Role

As a Finance Analytics Developer and Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in advancing financial excellence. You will work with developing and managing BI reports, data models, datasets, pipelines, process automation as well as analyzing data and generating insight. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across teams and shape the future of finance data and analytics at Schibsted.

You will join Finance Transformation and Data (FTD), a dynamic and specialized team of six experienced professionals in roles such as Finance Transformation Manager, Finance Processes Architect, Business Process Analysts and subject matter experts. Our team thrives on working closely with highly talented finance colleagues, continuously elevating the finance function. Together, we ensure that our ways of working, systems, and processes are high-performing and aligned with Schibsted’s strategy. You will report to the Head of Finance Transformation and data. Our methodology is agile, devops and Kanban.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage our finance BI reports, dashboards, models, replications from D365, datasets as well as some process automation and optimization.
  • Train, support, advise and work with end users and other members in the finance community, ensuring high service levels, user adoption and satisfaction
  • Manage initiatives, workstreams and projects as well as the Finance analytics and data Kanban board and backlog
  • Act as the contact point for our finance users’ requests and delegate work to various other teams that we work with, e.g. the Financials systems team and the data platform team
  • Analyze and generate insight from our data on how we can improve our processes, systems, etc.
  • Explore and innovate new ways of working with systems, AI, tools and approaches, etc.

With a passion for working in high-performing settings and supporting analytics users, you’re ready to take on a key role for continuously advancing our finance data and analytics.

  • Proven Expertise: Extensive experience in analytics, BI development, and DWH/ETL processes.
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced skills in Tableau, SQL, and Power Platform, with a knack for creating impactful dashboards and models.
  • Analytical Excellence: A structured and detail-oriented approach with a talent for identifying insights and solving complex problems.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and work seamlessly across departments.
  • Growth Mindset: A drive to innovate and continuously improve processes and systems.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with proficiency in Norwegian or Swedish as a plus.
