Cisco Network Engineer

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation with various sites across Scotland, is currently looking to recruit 2 x Network Deployment Specialists until the end of March 2025 on a rate of £234/day (Inside of IR35). These roles will be located across various sites within Scotland, including Islands.

Responsibilities:

- Deploy Cisco network configurations across multiple sites.

- Build and install network hardware, ensuring proper setup and functionality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless network operations.

- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and installations.

- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

Essential Skills:

- Proven experience in deploying Cisco network configurations.

- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and hardware.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.

- Ability to travel to various sites as required.

- Driving license

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with network security protocols and best practices.

- Familiarity with other networking equipment and technologies.
