Role Description

This is a contract role for an AWS Devops Engineer. The role is located in Melbourne, with flexibility for some Hybrid work.

Job description.

•         Proficient in CI/CD using AWS DevOps and open-source automation tool Jenkins.

•         Proficient in administering AWS Services.

•         Hands on experience with Terraform able to create and manage Templates and various AWS Services through Terraform.

•         Experience in AWS Cloud networking and Security

•         Awareness on AWS cloud infra protection and Core security features.

•         Working knowledge of docker containers and orchestration using Kubernetes Services.

•         Experience in event driven Microservices architecture and agile design patterns.

•         Good scripting experience with PowerShell/Python/Bash.

Desired Skills:

•         Cloud Platform: Amazon AWS.

•         CI/CD tools: AWS Devops, Jenkins.

•         Scripting & Programming Languages: PowerShell, Bash.

•         Source Code management: GitHub.

•         Web servers: Apache, IIS, Nginx.

•         Containerization Tools: Docker, Kubernetes.

Mandatoy Skills:

Candidate should have knowledge in Agile Process, AWS Cloud, -Terraform, Jenkins-pipeline building, Python scripting and Knowledge on projects relating to managing Data from various sources including Glue platform.
