ABOUT THE ROLE


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consumer Outbound Sales Officer to join our Membership Department. This role plays a crucial role in driving membership growth, fundraising success, and supporting the club’s mission to deliver exceptional experiences to our members and fans. Reporting to the Consumer Sale Executive, this casual position focuses on engaging with members and supporters to generate new memberships, upsell existing members, and raise funds for various club campaigns and initiatives.


This is a casual position, commencing in February of 2025.


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY


Reporting directly to the Consumer Sale Executive, the key areas of responsibilities will include:


  • Conduct outbound calls to drive membership sales and achieve fundraising outcomes.
  • Effectively communicate with members and supporters about membership options, benefits, and fundraising campaigns.
  • Build rapport with supporters to inspire contributions toward key club initiatives and programs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing accurate and timely information.
  • Collaborate with the Membership Sales team to achieve individual and team sales and fundraising targets.
  • Accurately update and maintain member and donor contact details in the database.
  • Assist in executing membership and fundraising campaigns.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You have a positive and energetic attitude with a passion for engaging with people. Ideally, you will have experience in a customer service, sales or fundraising role previously, with a call center or outbound role being preferable. Strong verbal communication and persuasive skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet targets. We value team players who contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends during peak periods is also required.
